According to the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, there is a nationwide shortage of 24,000 skilled workers in IT. Increasing digitalisation is driving this number up every day. The lack of suitable skilled workers is the biggest hurdle to digitalisation and can massively delay it. 39 per cent of Austrian companies are now experiencing losses in turnover.
